Request account deletion

Email an account deletion request

Send the request from the email address linked to your ShiftGop account, with subject “ShiftGop account deletion request”. For your security we may ask you to confirm account control. Never send your password or Gophr session information.

You may also ask to delete specific personal records without deleting your account; describe what you want removed. We aim to complete verified requests within the period required by applicable UK data protection law (usually one month).

What deletion covers

Upon verified request we will arrange deletion of your ShiftGop authentication account, related usage counters and subscription entitlements, and other personal records we control, subject to statutory retention and fraud/security obligations. Records on your device can be removed by deleting routes and clearing app storage or uninstalling.

Deleting your ShiftGop account does **not** delete your independent Gophr account or erase Gophr records. It also does **not** automatically cancel your Google Play subscription.

Cancel paid subscriptions first

Before deleting your ShiftGop account, open Google Play subscriptions and cancel any active ShiftGop subscription to prevent future charges. We can help you find the setting but do not process your payment-card details.
